    Radio Control

Does anyone else here race radio control cars or trucks? My friends and I have a league for electric off road R/C. Two of them have permanent dirt tracks in thier backyards, and two of us make temporary courses on grass. We asign points based on # of vehicles entered. 4 vehicles in the race means the winner gets 4 points, 2nd place would get 3, 3rd place gets 2, last gets 1. 16 events, 3 races per event, 75 laps per race. A pit stop where the body is removed is required before the 71st lap. I' ve won the championship the last 2 years and going for a third. We mostly run Traxxas Stampedes and Rustlers. Motors are unlimited, brushed or brushless. It's a blast, and a good way to get out with the buddies and drink beer.

My 2 trucks are in pieces right now. Getting them ready for warm weather. If it ever comes back to Wisconsin. I'll post some pics when they're back together. Check out www.traxxas.com under products - electric - Rustler.

Iused to have a midnight pumking back in my days of youth. used to race them on mountain circuits. About 3 years ago i deiced to but a nothe kit car but completed it within like 6 hours so it lost its appeal real easy. and they seem a lot slower nowdays

I would love to have enough play money to get a decent helicopter.. but right now thats out of the picture

I have a RC aircraft. they are great once you get the hang of them I got a classic 4 wing. great for stunts and Aeriel camera work.

You spend the first couple of months just putting them back together but after that you learn to land properly
