Thread: Racing a car

If you had a chance to race a car in a NASCAR race, would you do it? Do you think you could handle the speed of the car?

I would definitely want some practice first, and wouldn't just jump in on race day. I wouldn't expect myself to place anywhere near the front, but I would love to take the opportunity if I had it, and I guess back out if I couldn't handle it.

I'm not a big fan of NASCAR, in particular on ovals, although I love watching them on road courses.
I believe that there are very few people capable of handling the speed of a NASCAR racer without years of practice and experiences, never mind the traffic and car handling.
Just look at drivers who have come from other series, they have not exactly burned up the serie.

I would do it in a heartbeat! I have always liked driving cars and the faster the better. My dad raced in one one time in a BMW and it was awesome being there watching him but I would have loved to be in it driving.
