    Race of Champions at Wembley

(this one was pretty hard to decide in which section to put, but the event does have more of a rally than racing feel. )

This year's race of champions is debuting at Wembley Stadium and they are expecting a crowd of 80,000 people.

The last years the ROC has been in Paris and before that it was at the Canary Islands and was then more of a proper rallycross event on bigger tracks. The competition started in 1988.

The event will be held on the 16th of December.

The cars this year haven't been presented yet.

    Current driver lineup:

    Team Autosport England
    Jenson Button, F1
    Andy Priaulx, WTCC

    Team F1 Racing Scotland
    David Coulthard, F1
    Alister McRae, WRC

    Team Germany
    Michael Schumacher, Retired
    Sebastian Vettel, F1

    Team USA
    Jimmie Johnson, NASCAR
    Travis Pastrana, Rallying/motocross

In 2004 young Heikki Kovalainen won big stars like Michael Schumacher and Sebastien Loeb to take the title. Heikki looked like he could explode after beating Loeb with WRC cars in the finals.

I'd love to go see that What a riot!

They had an NFL game today at Wembley. Dolphins and Giants. It was a muddy event

That place is huge! 90,000 some people!

Yeah, that looks interesting. What a lot of work for a racing event in that stadium...

I saw Tony Kanaan in that preview. I didnt see any Indy Drivers on that website though.

There are still seats not confirmed yet so Kanaan might be back.

Here's the classic Kovalainen vs. Schumacher in the Ferraris:

That would be cool if he was. I know he is a guest racer at the Japanese Formula Nippon at Suzuka in November so he may very well do the ROC.
