Based in the countryside amid the lakes and forests near the host town of Jyvaskyla, the event's stages are made of smooth, hard-packed gravel and are renowned for their roller-coaster mix of cambered, sweeping corners and stomach-churning crests and jumps. The flowing nature of the roads also makes them terrifyingly fast.
WRC is back after 6 weeks break. Finland's rally is the favourite one for many drivers, even though the rally has been won by non-finn only 6 times in it's 57 year history. I'd bet my money on Latvala this year. Here is a nice clip of one of the most famous super stages in the world, Ouninpohja.
