    Audi Wins 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans

    Team Audi Sport North America won the prestigious race with its drivers Marco Werner, Emanuele Pirro and Frank Biela. Team Peugeot Total came in second, while Team Pescarolo came in third.

    It was a great race, with a total of 250,000+ visitors attending the event. I was hoping Jacques Villeneuve would win, but although his team were doing very well, they retired towards the end of the race

    Some other notable names that took part in the race include Stephane Sarrazin, Sebastian Bourdais, Pedo Lamy, Emmanuel Collard, Jan Magnussen, Alex Yoong, Johnny Herbert, Tomas Enge, Christian Fittipaldi, Adrian Newey, Marc Gen?, Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish, Mika Salo and Marcel F?ssler

    Hey, don't forget about Rickard Rydell who won the GT1 class with David Brabham and Darren Turner!

    Anyway, it was a nice race I watched a fair number of hours of the Speed broadcast. Too bad about the safety car at the end. They should have continued racing; if it's raining too much -- stay off the gas a bit instead of complaining until they pull out the safety car.
