    Mika Hakkinen Retires from the DTM

    Mika Hakkinen has decided to retire from racing in the DTM series. I'm a bit disappointed that he did not add another season, but I understand his decision given the controversies that happened throughout the year

    Hakkinen says he will continue his relationship with Mercedes and that an announcement will be made soon about his future plans. I have a hard time imagining him outside a race car. But I doubt he will join another series. Maybe he will take on a management role of sorts.

    Or maybe he will open a bar with ex-rival Shuey near Lake Geneva

    He will continue as a PR person for Mercedes. I don't see Mika continuing his racing career anymore.

    Hi,

    how old is Mika? He started his F1 career in 1991, like Schumacher, but don't know who is the oldest one.
