The fourth race of the 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia at Mantorp Park only lasted a couple of laps before it was red flagged and stopped. The reason was a crash at the long dragstrip straight.

For some reason second placed driver David Bj?rk and third placed driver Martin Kudzak got together on the straight which sendt Bj?rk into a spin hitting a flag marshalls post, surrounded by a couple of tires and solid concrete, at 230 km/h. That's no way to treat a 997.

Bj?rk escapes with a broken bone and two broken ribs.

Kudzak claims in the interview in this clip that Bj?rk suddenly slowed right down in the middle of the straight causing him to run into him.

The race was stopped and victory handed to Jocke Mangs, Martin Kudzak second and last year's champion Edward Sandstr?m in third.
