    ALMS from Mosport 2008

This Sunday brings us ALMS from Mosport. This should be a nice challenging and quick track. As usual I'll be rooting for Audi in LMP1 and Risi in GT2. The LMP2 battle between Penske Porsche, AGR's Acura, and the Patron Acura team should be hot and heavy as well.

Be sure to catch the race on SPEED at 2pm central!!!

And Audi takes 1-2 in class and the overall win!! The LMP2 battle was tight and came down to the last bit. The Patron Acura managed to take the LMP2 win. The GT1 class only consist of 3 cars 2 of which are teammates. The Corvettes won (again) over the one Aston Martin. O'Connell is on a streak to set the ALMS record of 9 wins in a season. And my Risi boys took GT2 in the Ferrari!!! Yaaaaayyy. They won the 24hrs. of Le Mans and have had a streak of bad luck since. They finally broke that streak with a win. That class battle was also quite nice. There are 2 cars under review (a Porsche and A Ferrari) for NASCAR esque driving. This was a great race! The passing and traffic situations made for some of the most excitement in racing.

I actually watched some of this. Not bad. But I turned it off when the IndyCar race came on.

Your loss. The Indy race was quite boring to me. The on track action in the last hour of the ALMS race was the best action of the weekend in any series.
