Had an unusual encounter last weekend at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant (Quebec, Canada), one of the most challenging tracks in the Country where F1 used to race in the first editions of the Canadian F1 Grand Prix and where Champ Car made its last appearance 2 years ago. Every year since 1965, they host the Fall Classic, where GT, Formula and Vintage cars gather for this race. Not a lot of Sunday drivers there!
In the GT class, the owner of the track pleased the fans by choosing to use his Mclaren F1 GTR Long Tail (well, not bad of a choice considering he has an Enzo FXX, Ferrari Challenge and many other race cars in his stable!). Could this be the ultimate track car? YES INDEED, just by listening to music from the exhausts and sleek silhouette... and the fact that there were only 10 Long Tail produced... WOW! Never thought I could see this beast with my own two eyes and 'live'... A friend of mine took some pictures, see for yourself! Enjoy!!!

Also, there was a Stohr WF1 IMSA Light, who ran ahead of the pack (featuring Vipers Competition, NSX turbocharged, Porsches) all weekend long...

Makes you think and wonder what happens when you crash...! I don't think you can get parts for these 2 at the corner store!
