    SAAB 93 in STCC 2009

    At the SWedish Touring Car Championship season finale this year they revealed a new car for the championship in 2009. The rumours had it that it would be a brand never that never before raced in the championship. And the rumours were correct.

    Driver Jens Edman ran a few laps in a newly built S2000 spec SAAB 93 BioPower. They were hoping for factory support for this project, but this will not be the case although the trolls at the SAAB plant in Trollh?ttan helped with the construction and initial testing of the car.

    It's quite difficult to launch a newly built car with no official backing in this economic climate but hopefully this car will be on the starting grid when the 2009 season starts.

    now thats the kinda car I want to have on the drive way. Looks pratical and beastly. I could rag it around the track all da and go and do the shopping on the way home

    worth noting when talking about the STCC, Volvo recently took their C30 STCC entrant to compete in the more widely followed World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) Could Saab do the same?

    Good car

    I really like the colour of this car.I really like the red colour of this car.It simply looks awesome.They launched the car at the perfect time.The outlook of car is really nice.

    This car is really made for men, it gives a tough musculin look.but i am not satisfied with its colour, it is very much contrasting with respect to the smooth design of the car And i hope that SAAB would do the same as Volvo did in World Touring Car Championship.
