oh gawd! things are bad man. The only series I see surviving is the demolition derby league.
It says there is a chance of private entries of the Porsche Spyder and Audi R10. So there is a chance those cars will still be on the grid, just not factory teams.
There was a period from like 2004-2006 when Audi pulled out to develop the R10, and before Penske had joned with Porsche to develop the Spyder that ALMS was dominated by teams running private Audi R8's, Lola's, and Zytek's.
So I would by no means consider this the end of the series, plus factory teams like Honda (Acura), and Mazda are still going to be there.
I hope ALMS stays strong. Hell that's my favorite series.

I've just caught the ALMS bug, I'm sure there will still be great racing, but the technological advances will happen much slower!
I am really following ALMS, one of my favorite series!

The Porsche car really looks fine. I have heard that this car has excellent driving features along with its exterior features. The engine of this car is also highly efficient.
