I have 3 drives. 160g sata2 for windows and 2 x 500g sata2 hard drives for other stuff. These drives are superb, absolutely noiseless. And when it comes to the CASE, the Antec is just sooo coool, it's dual chambers isolate the power supply and CPU into separate cooling zones with up to 5 fans (I got 4). Three-layer sound-deadening panels dampen noise very well, not to mention It's made out of aluminium so it looks good.
Absolutely the best case I've ever had or seen.
Vista is performing slightly slower than xp (imo), and it's very performance comsuming product. Now with only explorer on, I have already 29% of my 2g ram used, so maybe I'm going to get me 2 gigs more at some point.
Tested this new game Crysis yesterday and it runs pretty well. With highest graphic settings you would need a computer from future tho.Today I might have time to dload rFactor and give my g25 a test.

cool config harakimi..
IMO AMD sucks for a developer. Intel is way better in performance.
Well, unused RAM is worthless RAM.
I remember back in the good old days when I ran my trusty old Amiga and had purchased a whooping 16 Megs of RAM to it to give it a total of 18 Mb. The really only thing that did was to always give me 16 Mb of unused RAM (if I didn't run any 3D apps or so) until I decided to copy all OS files to a RAM disk at startup. That meant something like 90% of the memory used at all time but it gave me one hell of a fast system as there was no need for any hard drive access for system functions anymore.
Now.... how do I copy Vista to RAM?![]()

The race in the desktop market is very close between AMD and Intel. Both have a very good set of processors, depending on how much performance you need.
When it comes to laptops the Intel Centrino line still enjoys a slight advantage in many aspects. Although AMD has been catching up, they are still not quite there yet. A lot of it has to do with consumer perception of course![]()
As bad as this may sound, when the race between two things like these is so tight with, what a can see, as so little difference between them...I just buy what's on sale when I go to the store.
