    Sound Issues

    The speakers in my computer have stopped working for some reason. I think it may something with the sound card. I can tell the music is playing, but there's just no sound, and headphones or external speakers (I use a laptop) don't work either.

    Anybody have any idea's here?

    I think I may be taking a trip to Future Shop very soon as I have an extended warranty on this thing and I only got in the summer.

    Well, the first thing I always do is check the device manager and make sure all is ok there. If so, go online and find the latest drivers for your soundcard, install them and reboot.

    They get paid commission. So I'll just say if they fix it right now I'll buy something.

    (and then when they fix it I won't buy anything hehe)

    Actually the only significant commission they make is off the extened warranty's they try to hawk on you Otherwise it's by the hour, Hair-Gel addicts and pimple poppers

    I haven't had too much trouble returning anything, but I haven't had any service done there..

    Well, if its under warranty, than take advantage of it and get it fixed. It is a soundcard and not integrated sound, correct?
