Thread: Blu-Ray DVD Players

Im in the market right now for a new Blu-Ray DVD Player. I think I have it narrowed down already. Im shocked I have so fast since I usually take a long time to make up my mind.

But the model Im leaning towards is the Samsung BD-P2500. Since I have a Samsung HDTV & Speaker system w/dvd now, I figured I would get a Samsung model. Anyone else here have this model or a blu-ray ? Any ideas, comments, or suggestions on one ??

I would suggest getting a PS3. It has Blue Ray as well as gaming and I don't think there is a huge price difference.

I already have an Xbox 360 and I only play racing games on it.

A PS3 is like $400 bucks, I can get this blu-ray player for less than $300.

Yes, I liked the 1.3 HDMI, thats what my tv's HDMI is. I can get it shipped to my house for $299!
