Do you prefer Mac or PC?

I know this has to be one of the oldest threads in the book. Mac has been coming on strong with their new products. Had a PC then Vista came out and I went for MAC, Vista really is a piece of crap

Mac Baby, Mac It's been nearly 2 years and I'll never look back

Now, if I was a gaming freak (and thankfully I'm not) I'd have had to go with PC. Nothing worth noting gamewise for the Macs.. Prove me wrong

Vista isn't all that bad if you run it on a Mac

Exactly! Not a gamer either, I have my 360 for that. Ill never go back to PC ever. I dont understand how they can release a software that unstable. I mean it would crash at least 3-4 times a day.

I'm a PC guy. I like mac's too but the thing about a PC is flexibility. I can run almost any OS (which is where you guys are making the mistake) and any hardware. On a mac you CAN run virtual desktop and run xp, linux etc. but it's more $$ to buy a mac and you have to pay big to upgrade. I can fix my own pc and software quite easily as it is. I can run XP and run virtual box (actually can run virtual box out of any OS) and then run any other OS in that virtual desktop. If your XP is crashing you have issues not related to Windows cuz mine works and works great as it always has. The only thing I'd use a MAC for is MAC stuff like audio/video/photo editing.

All said, I love my iPhone. hehehe.

I agree that Vista is a piece of crap. But, Windows XP rocks like no other!
So, I prefer PC but with XP installed in it!

I'm all about PCs. I can buy any piece of hardware I want. I don't like to be limited by what Apple decides to slap a pink or bright orange case around. Plus, all my office uses PC, and if I had a mac, who'd fix my computer for me when it broke? Best Buy, yeah right.

Waiting for my new Dell laptop to arrive, have some trepidations about Vista, hope its not like Win98, in a previous life I used OS2 Warp and Merlin, did Beta testing on Merlin releases and haven't played with an operating system since IBM thrown the towel in on OS2 and converted all the office machines to Win95, back in the mid nineties.

Whilst I like all the gadgets that are available for the MAC I just find the PC easier to navigate and when things go bad I know where to look.

Don't tell me things don't go bad with a MAC

Vista is just a pain . I have it on the Laptop but its really heavy and slow when I know if I had Xp on it it would be flying
