    Short answer: no.

Long answer: No, because we depend on it too much right now. What happens when you go to the store to buy something (just about any store), poof, swipe the debt card. What happens if the net went away, how many hobbies would you miss out on, how many people would need to look for other work. Tech is all around, if anything I wonder where it will stop or what level it will go to next.

If I had no choice I guess I would have to live without it. I definitely wouldn't like it though. I like my gadgets and toys way too much!

We all could live without it and if you do a little research online about nifty things like solar flares you will see that it's complete loss for years at a time is not only likely but probable and this comes from NASA.

I think we could definitely live without it. Of course I would miss some of the conveniences of technology but I could do without it all.
