There is so much technology in today's world. Do you think that we could ever go back to living without it? Could you go without your technology?

I would have a very diffucult time living without e-mail and texting. I have become very deficient at spoken communication and much more proficient in written communication, and I hate when I'm forced to call someone or find them in person because they are not using/replying to e-mails and texts.
I don't think I could go back. I love technology. I often wonder if it really make life easier of more difficult for us though. It seems there was more time to relax before.
I did not even write snail mails when emails haven't been available on the net. Moreover, currently I am working online to get extra income, so I would never want to go back to living without the internet.
Well I guess if something happened and all that technology was suddenly gone we would have to learn to live without. The thing I would miss most though is electricity in such a case. I love my AC and hot showers!
I love AC but I can bear to live without it.You are right about electricity though. Almost every aspect in our daily life involves and uses electricity now. There are not many things we could do during a power outage.
I was not made to be a pioneer. However, I'm not into the smartphone and techno wizardry that is out there, like games. I do need television and my computer, though.
When it comes to gadgets, yes I am similar to you. I don't need those latest technology gadgets. I have been using my Siemens for almost five years. Using the cellphone, you can only do basic things like making and receiving calls, and sending text messages.
I could live without electricity if I had to, for awhile anyway. I was talking more gadget type things, like computers, internet, cellphones--things like that.
This reminds me of the movie Die Hard 4. We rely so much with the electronics and the internet that cities will be in chaos when these things disappear.
As for me, I think I can't live with the internet.
