Onboard V8 Supercars Middle East + Engine Explodes

    Hi,

Not been around here in a while but on a rare quite evening decided to pop by and see if there is any news on here from the Middle East series.

I just got back from the first official test days for this years Championship. The old cars (2007/2008) are now running in a Class B (only change is now running on slicks) and there are brand new Class A cars for this season. The Class A cars have LS6 engines, Sequential gearboxes and slick tyres.

OK, they are not quite up to Aussie V8 spec but a big jump from the older car ... and they sound awesome.

I put some onboard videos up on Youtube and also a video of one the Class A cars grenading it's engine in a ball of flames on the start finish straight.

Those were some nice videos, good picture quality. I have not followed the Middle East series much but really appreciated the link to the website. There are lots of nice pictures in the gallery. I enjoy looking at the cars.
