Thread: Name That Corner #5 (Solved)

Ok, one more for this weekend. I may have to do some more searching for #6 so I hope this one presents a challenge. We're looking the turn closest in the pic.

It's too easy to get F1 only. I will be trying for different years, different series, tracks that aren't around anymore etc. You almost got a dirt track on this one.

I don't know the name of the turn (if it even has an official name), but it's turn 6 or 7 at the track in Houston (where EIR is from), built in the parking lot of Reliant Park.

You're on the right track. (They don't have official names though) You may want to review the map on the official Houston GP site. Close though.

Actually it wasn't until I was typing it out that I noticed the connection.

What tipped me off that it was Houston was that I saw Oriol Servia driving the #3 car. He only drove that at Long Beach and Houston, and knew that wasn't Long Beach.

Wow, that's a good observation. I didn't know that but I'll be sure to kep my eyes out for that kind of thing for #6.
